Consulting

In addition to academic research and teaching, I also partner with great education and non-profit organizations as part of my consulting practice! Read more about my recent consulting projects below:

University of Cincinnati

In 2023, I had the opportunity to partner with my friend/colleague/mentor, Dr. Heather Walter, to provide a series of educational units on aspects of transition planning for students with disabilities. Specifically, we prepared transition units on person-centered planning, goal setting, career awareness, and community experiences. Each unit includes a PowerPoint presentation, a case study, a short research brief, a summary of the practice, an implementation guide, an assignment with a complimentary rubric, and an interview with Heather and me. Best of all, these resources will be FREE once they are released. Stay tuned for updated links here once these units are posted by the University of Cincinnati!

Jeremiah Program

I came to Jeremiah Program (JP) through a friend of a friend during my master's program, and I immediately fell in love with the organization's unwavering commitment to single moms. Initially, I partnered with JP to develop and implement a market analysis strategy to identify new promising program locations across the U.S.. Since then, I've gotten involved in various projects with the organization - from managing the opt-in process system for new moms in 2021 to trying my hand at non-profit grant writing the following year. I most recently manages the JP central email account by responding to inquiries and forwarding other messages along to relevant folks.

Educators Thriving

When I began my PhD program, I quickly learned that I had huge shoes to fill after meeting Dr. Hallie Fox. Hallie was my advisor's graduate assistant before me, and she met me with open arms from day one. Aside from partnering with our lab on some important projects related to teacher well-being, I learned that Hallie spends most of days in her full-time role as Head of Research at Educators Thriving (ET). Hallie has given me the opportunity to support several focus group sessions with ET, where I've gotten to engage directly with teachers across the U.S. as they discussed various barriers and facilitators to their professional well-being. I've also gotten involved with ET's data analysis projects by partnering with Hallie and the research team.
